Starting my journey as a Software Engineer at UKG today is a testament to the unforeseen paths that life can take. While software engineering wasn't my initial career choice, I couldn't be more grateful that I discovered this field.

Throughout my life, my unwavering passion for computers has been a driving force that has shaped my journey. It was during my high school years in Belarus that I encountered a pivotal moment that opened the door to modern computers, unveiling their captivating functionalities. While the curriculum provided a foundational understanding of computer systems, motivated by an insatiable curiosity and an unwavering commitment to learning, I embarked on a journey of independent research, propelled by a deep-rooted desire to explore uncharted domains.

Despite my passion for technology, my parents guided me towards pursuing a degree in Economic Law. I completed my Bachelor's degree in this field and subsequently joined a government law agency. Working there, I honed my skills in team collaboration, client communication, and problem-solving. Yet, my spare time was dedicated to my true passion - delving into Photoshop, learning HTML/CSS, and tinkering with code during my extensive research.

In 2017, I took a chance and entered the lottery for the US green card. This pivotal moment reignited my desire to pursue the field that had always felt like my true calling.

From January 2019 to March 2021, I had the privilege of being a part of North Seattle Community College, where I earned my Associate degree in Computer Science. The experience was nothing short of exhilarating, propelling me forward to join the vibrant community at the University of Washington Bothell. It was there that I nurtured my passion, culminating in the attainment of my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Software Engineering in August 2022.

Today, as I embark on my new role as a Software Engineer at UKG, I am filled with anticipation and eagerness to contribute my skills and knowledge to this dynamic organization. My resume and LinkedIn profile provide a comprehensive overview of my achievements and experiences thus far.

Drawing from my diverse background in law, self-driven exploration of technology, and formal education in computer science have equipped me with a unique perspective and a solid foundation.
